Privacy Statement
Last updated: 11th October 2026
PlayerIQ respects your privacy. This statement explains how we use personal information when you visit our website, contact us or use our football development platform. It covers parents, carers and players.
1. Who we are
PlayerIQ is operated by PLAYER IQ LIMITED, company number 17510925. We are responsible for deciding how personal information collected for PlayerIQ is used.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
2. Information you provide
At launch, our registration information is limited to names, email addresses and a player's date of birth. We use the date of birth to identify the appropriate age group.
If you contact us, we also receive the information you include in your message. Please avoid sending medical information, identity documents or other sensitive information that we have not requested.
Player photograph uploads are not currently available. We do not ask for physical measurements or health information at launch.
3. Parents, carers and young players
For players under 18, accounts are currently held and managed by a parent or carer. Separate player logins are not available at launch.
Parents or carers provide the player's information and should explain this statement to them in a way they can understand. A child still has privacy rights even when an adult manages the account.
For young players: your parent or carer manages your account. We use your name and birthday to help provide the right age-group content. You can ask your parent or carer to help you contact us if you want to know more about your information.
4. Why we use information
- To create and administer parent or carer accounts.
- To provide access to PlayerIQ content and services.
- To identify the player's age group.
- To respond to enquiries and provide support.
- To send necessary account and service messages.
- To send optional marketing emails where you have agreed to receive them.
- To protect the platform, resolve complaints and meet legal obligations.
5. Our legal grounds
We use account-holder information where necessary to provide the service under our agreement with the parent or carer, or to take steps they request before entering an agreement.
We use limited player information, including date of birth for age grouping, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing suitable football development content. We must balance this interest against the player's rights and interests, with particular care for children.
We also rely on legitimate interests for necessary support and platform security, consent for optional email marketing, and legal obligations where we are required to retain or disclose information.
Where information is needed to set up an account or identify an age group, we will explain this when requesting it. Without that information, we may be unable to provide the relevant feature.
6. Emails and your choices
Account and service emails are separate from optional marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing using the link in an email or by contacting us. This does not stop necessary messages about your account.
At launch, marketing subscriptions are intended for parents, carers and adult users.
7. Kajabi and service providers
Our platform is hosted on Kajabi. Kajabi processes information to operate the website and account services. Depending on the features used, this can include technical information such as IP addresses, device and browser information, login records and interactions with platform content.
Information may also be handled by providers supporting our business email and platform operations. Access should be limited to what is needed for their role. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to address a legal claim.
8. Processing outside the UK
Kajabi processes information in the United States and may use service providers in other countries. Its Data Processing Addendum describes the contractual protections and transfer arrangements that apply.
You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your personal information.
9. Cookies and tracking
The website uses cookies and similar technologies to support platform functions such as signing in and maintaining a session. Blocking these through your browser may affect how the website works.
We have not added Google Analytics or Meta Pixel at launch. This does not mean Kajabi collects no technical information or uses no cookies.
Before introducing additional tracking tools, we will update the information provided to visitors and apply any required consent controls.
10. Keeping information
We keep parent account details while the account is open, then delete or anonymise them within 90 days of closure.
We keep a player's name and date of birth while needed to provide their age pathway, then delete or anonymise them within 90 days of the player's removal or account closure.
We keep general enquiries for up to 12 months after resolution.
We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe. We review contacts after 24 months without engagement and remove those we no longer need. After unsubscribing, we retain only the minimum details needed to prevent further marketing.
We may retain specific records longer where necessary to meet legal obligations or deal with an unresolved dispute. This does not mean keeping the whole account.
We review records monthly to identify information due for deletion. You can contact [email protected] to request deletion sooner; we will assess your request under your data protection rights.
11. Protecting information
We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee complete security. Please keep account credentials private and contact us if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of use or transfer of information to another provider. You can also object to certain uses and withdraw consent where we rely on it.
These rights have conditions and exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier use.
Children have their own privacy rights. A parent or carer may help exercise them where appropriate. We may need to check identity and authority before disclosing information.
Send requests to [email protected].
13. Complaints
Please contact us if you have concerns about your information. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
14. Future features and changes
Separate player logins and player photo uploads may be introduced later. Before introducing new uses of personal information, we will update this statement, explain the changes and obtain consent where required.
